Are you an enthusiastic training professional to join our Leap Forward team?

Valmet is going full speed ahead with its business process transformation project, Leap Forward. This transformation program is rolling out new ERP and key processes covering every parts of Valmet’s business.

We are now looking for an enthusiastic Training Specialist to lead our training activities in our major Leap Forward business transformation program. In this role you work together with our Training Coordinator and Rollout teams, Business and Finance to ensure successful global training implementation.

This means in practice

• Define and maintain the overall training curriculum
• Training environment coordination
• Coordinate global training materials
• Conduct training needs analysis based on rollout scope and user roles
• Create and maintain the training plans and key user training schedules
• Manage the training arrangements for key user trainings globally
• Track the training attendance
• Collect and analyze training feedback
• Facilitate the key user network during the rollout project related to learning activities
• Organize and keep Train the Trainer sessions for key users
• Manage training group meetings
• Support in conducting training needs analysis and planning of end user training during rollout project
• Organize Leap release trainings for key users

Who would succeed in the role?

The Leap Forward program covers every part of Valmet’s business. On this type of project there is constant change, tight deadlines, roadblocks, setbacks, and many challenges. But the sense of achievement as each phase of the project is rolled out and the transformation succeeds will be motivating as you see how your efforts are changing the business.

To succeed in this position, we expect you to have:

• Bachelor´s or master’s degree or equivalent of a relevant field
• At least 2-3 years’ experience in training activities, preferably related to ERP programs / business development
• Strong coordination skills
• Ability to work hands on with several training tasks even under time pressure and global schedules
• Familiarity of project management methods and tools
• Ability to maintain good working relationships across the international organization
• Ability to identify critical topics and process issues where necessary
• Excellent communication skills with ability to deliver complex messages in an effective way
• Fluent language skills both written and verbal in English is a must.
• Experience on agile development methods is an asset

The project team operates in Järvenpää. Besides Järvenpää, other major Valmet locations in Finland can be considered.
