As a Model Based Software Tester you will be reviewing and testing the future software functions that are going into the next generation of Porsche cars. Your main responsibilities will be the following:

  • You will develop comprehensive, simple to complex, testing scenarios to assert functionality
  • You will analyze requirements, specifications and Simulink model design
  • You will use the integrated TPT scripting assessment (Python based)
  • You will deliver high quality documentation of the implemented test cases
  • You will work with custom testing tools/environment (MATLAB/Simulink, TPT)
  • You will work in accordance with the automotive standards
  • You will collaborate with international project teams
  • You will establish and maintain a good communication between the development and testing team

Qualifications

QualificationsQualifications

  • You have successfully completed a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Information Technology or an equivalent education
  • You have previous experience in Software Testing or in a related field
  • You have good knowledge of Python or similar scripting language, Matlab scripting is considered a plus
  • You have basic knowledge of Matlab/Simulink, Stateflow and TPT is considered a plus
  • You have a strong drive to keep good communication between team members
  • You’re a team player with a service-oriented working style, and as a self-confident person, you always have an eye for the essentials
  • You speak English fluently and German language is considered a plus
  • You are flexible and willing to travel abroad/domestic, whenever it is required
