Application Engineer for ECAD Library - IT (TM) [Romania]

 

Your tasks

• Analyze technological aspects regarding electronic/electromechanical components description;
• Create new library components according to technologies, rules and recommendations qualified as company standard (schematic symbols and PCB footprints);
• Update existing components according to technological changes in the company;
• Improve applications’ quality by constantly giving feedback;
• Collect the needs and requests from electronic engineers and PCB designers;
• Analyze the engineering processes, the constrains and problems experienced by the designers and manufacturing locations;
• Work in close cooperation with the team taking care of electro-mechanical 3D models of components.

Your profile

• University degree in industrial engineering, electronic engineering or a comparable qualified education/experiences;
• Good knowledge of PCB technology (work experience in the area is a plus);
• Knowledge in PCB design (Layout);
• Good skills in using CAD applications;
• Specific ECAD library tool know-how is an advantage (Zuken CR-8000, Mentor Board Station, Mentor PADS);
• Be able to work autonomous and being part of an international acting team;
• Team player, having inter-cultural sensitivity;
• Well (self-)organized person with independent, structured and solution oriented working methods;
• Good communication skills and customer orientation;
• Good English language skills (speaking and writing).
