Storekeeper [Malaysia]

 

JOB DESCRIPTION Position: Storekeeper/Assistant Department: Store/Warehouse Reporting Line: Store Supervisor 1. Position Objective: To ensure that all stocks and materials (covers raw material, WIP, FG papercore, packing material, all scrap items) in the warehouse are accurate and well-organized. 2. Key Responsibilities & Accountabilities: a) Ensure that all incoming and outgoing stocks/logistics are properly monitored and followed-up. b) Issue and transfer materials to production according to proper procedures c) Ensure that issuing of stock is completed according to the Material Requisition (MR) Form d) Responsible for housekeeping and 5S in warehouse and office area. e) Check stock weekly and monthly. f) Check figures, quantity loaded, unload import and export containers according to P/I or D/O. g) Ensure all stocks are stored systematically and in a safer manner. h) Deliver/ship finished products according to schedule to customers. i) Drive and handle forklift in a safe and responsible manner. 3. Skills and competencies: Integrity, safe forklift handling, computer literate, able to give attention to detail 4. Performance measures and standards a) Accuracy in reports, stock and quantity. b) Accuracy in information and data given to all departments. c) Organization and cleanliness of warehouse area. d) Number of internal/external customer complaints.
