FCAS2023 Armament Integration Engineer [Spain]

 

Job Description:

An opportunity for an FCAS2023 Armament Integration Engineer has arisen within Airbus Defence and Space , Getafe (Madrid ).

Main Task and responsibilities will be related to Armament Systems integration activities in future combat air platforms, including:

• To define requirements for integartion of Armament in Future Combat Air Systems, at system, subsystem, or equipment level.
• To define Armament Control and Carriage Systems Design Requirements
• To perform Impact analysis for the integration of new Armament in a combat platform.
• Preparation and assessment of the technical documentation for the integration of armament.
• Generation of weapons to Aircraft Interface Control Document.
• Preparation and assessment of Safety documentation. Generation of Preliminary Hazard Analysis
• To identify the activities of the development life cycle that are necessary to develop a system/product and provide the level of confidence which is consistent with regulation and program requirements.
• To define checkpoints and reviews with associated maturity expectation aligned with program phases and gates.
